It's literally in his name... Imma Leave A. Listen folks, I have some good news for everyone. This post doesn't apply to those who trusted Coach Swinney, but more so for those who wished he would empty the bank account on turds in the portal. Yes, I'm talking to YOU JudgeKeller and those who have no idea how to run a college sports program. Here are the facts, Jack! A little comment I left for Tennesee VOLs fans on their pathetic forum.
Dear Tennessee Vol Fans:
Whenever your subpar QB messes things up this season, please do not give up on Josh Heupel. I say this because that man is doing what is right for the sport of College Football. At some point, you have to ask yourself if (1) man is bigger than the rest of the team. There is simply no excuse for the behavior of some. While I wish the Vols nothing but success, this is the afterburn of building a team on NIL offers in the portal. Head Coach Dabo Swinney saw this coming a mile away. Nobody listened and the door to the ARK is now closed for everyone else. We will recruit our talent from High-school and if they prove themselves, they will be paid unimaginable wealth for a college kid.
WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER! GO TIGERS

My feelings about the TN program took moved in a positive direction with the way the staff handled the Diva QB.
I don't think TN will take a step back because of the QB leaving. Someone still has to run the ball, catch the ball, block for the QB, and someone has to stop the other team. There IS QB talent on the roster. But you can't play if you aren't given the chance.
As we like to say..."NEXT MAN UP!"

Two things I believe about this kid. One his stats don't add up to the money he was asking, and two, I think his decision was reinforced by greedy relatives, that may very well have ruined his career.

No, it’s not. Nico was a HS recruit, not a portal grab.

Even worse, I might add. At Clemson you come for the culture that puts LIFE and EDUCATION FIRST. If you perform on the field, then you will earn one of the most lucrative deals of your life.

You give a high school recruit with no college production 2.66M per year for 3 years you can only expect he will want more. You gave him something for nothing. Of course he wants more for something.
And what does it say for their program that the first thing they do is go back to the portal to try and get notre dames back up? We were told they had a stable full of 5-star qbs on the bench. Any consideration to developing and building up your own blue chip talent? A couple of them will probably hit the portal as well if they take Angeli. Who could blame em?

You guys have the right analysis/thinking. Nico is a bad egg. They are lying when they say it wasn't about the money. That's all he thought about. Well, he screwed himself royally. Taking a big drop in pay plus those high Calif taxes takes it on down more. His daddy and him are getting what they deserve. College sports have gone to the devil.
