With visits in the books, in-state tight end begins process of making a decision

Growing up a mere 50 miles from Clemson, many thought it was a foregone conclusion that Luke Deal would play for the Tigers, but the Greenwood native is taking his time and doing his due diligence before making a decision. Full Story »

Looking for a family atmosphere with a big time football program? It’s a no brainer...Clemson is your best option.

I’m sure Dabo told him to go check out other schools

So he could make the best decision for himself and his family because Dabo wants him to be fully committed if he chooses Clemson. I love that Dabo isn’t afraid for kids to compare Clemson to other schools. It keeps us from hardly ever having a decommitted player.

I think Kirby Smart has done opposite by threatening to take away offers if players visit other schools. In the long run it will catch up with him.

At first I thought he really wanted to go out of state. Then he said he wanted family, faith, and football. Plus the chance to win a championship. Clemson it is. :)

Yes, really only reasonable choices to fill that are us and ND so I think he stays home. Looking at the film - the kid stays on his blocks! Perfect for us - can block and also be a weapon downfield!

Sounds like this guy really likes to be chased . You would think he has some idea by now .

Clemson seems like a perfect fit. What am I missing?

To know Clemson is to love Clemson. Most people across America have not had an opportunity to experience the uniqueness of Clemson. But I'm a bit biased. My 4 years at Clemson were treasured years. There is something in those hills, for sure. I hope he doesn't have a case of "the grass is greener on the other side". Seems like a slam dunk decision to me. I can see him fitting in perfectly at Clemson.
