Spot the ball: Head coaches, rosters set for spring game

The rosters are set, two new head coaches are in place and the final act of the spring will take place Saturday when Clemson holds its annual Orange & White Game. Full Story »

QB's Live? That's risky. A normal practice is one thing, but, a spring game with the added adrenaline? Here's crossing my fingers. If a contender goes down trouble. Just my opinion. I'm not the coach and don't have to answer if something happens.

They will but he's clearly trying to get as close to an actual live game as he can...including making the quarterbacks live AND firing up old Christian Wilkins (now THAT is a brave pair of coaching decisions.)

...but, with a young quarterback group that you are trying to choose a starter from, what better way to differentiate between them than to have our defense chasing them around in front of 70,000 screaming fans for an afternoon? If that isn't enough to show who can be consistent under pressure and who can't, this may be going on until the Auburn game.

As always in coaching (and in life), it's genius...if it works.

And know the fans will be in great attendance number-wise, as I will for 1st time in probably 25+ years, so to see our reigning National Champions greeted and their new contenders!

Glad to see Johnson and Cooper on the same team. Dominant QB play will determine this game, that is .. against our D- Line. That will be the best test, a championship test. Both teams will have great WR's.. Something tells me, Johnson may surprise.
