Pigskin Prophet: Beware of Columbia Edition
Looking ahead to this weekend’s rivalry game between Clemson and South Carolina, the old Prophet realized that the Gamecocks’ tailgating and parking lots have been a mess this season. Heck, South Carolina fans at tailgates make Sodom and Gomorrah blush. If you haven’t seen the videos, then just go look. are usually very close games. AND the best team does not always win, especially when the best team plays on the road.
I hope Clemson plays it's best game of the season Saturday night and puts this game out of reach early. Go, Fight, Win! GO TIGERS!

Yes but if you look at some of the struggles Clemson has had over the last few seasons (when the QB's were healthy and playing) its been mainly because of turnovers. Look at the rivalry game a couple weeks ago against FSU. You can not fumble the ball inside the 5 yard line. That game should have been over in the first half with the Tigers up 24 at the very least. My only key to this game is protecting the ball. Say what you want about South Carolina but one of their main things on defense is trying to strip the ball. They do it every time even at the expense of giving up an extra 5 or 10 yards. So the Tigers have to take care of the ball and if they do that I see the Tigers winning comfortably. South Carolina's offense is anemic at best and going against Clemson's defense I just don't see them being able to score enough to keep up as long as the Tigers don't help them with turnovers. With a clean game by the Tigers I actually like The Prophets prediction if not adding another TD to the Tigers score. With that said I hope everyone had an absolute wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that people truly have given thanks for being a Clemson fan and living in the greatest country in the world no matter how bad it seems at times.

Great post. Same to you. I'm a big-time tiger fan, but also realize that this is a game. We have people all over the world risking their lives so that we can sleep well at night. God bless them. I am grateful.

I hope it puts it out of reach early and never lets its foot up off the gas nor the chicken's necks. If we keep pedal to the medal we win in good fashion. If not, it will provide no style points to help the voters know we belong. I hope we leave no doubt and muschump bursts a blood vessel in his head and neck.

We r a little bit softer in a couple of areas, and the other team is a little stronger in a couple, as opposed to last year. End of day. Good guys will win, but not sure how much. If we make a statement early, they will fold like Miami did a couple years ago!
