First, I'm not so sure he would get the start given the coaches preference for age over beauty of play. Second, no matter who starts over KB, the play-calling will too conservative to allow the QB to really shine- survive yes, but not shine.
Even KB has suffered from the coaches awareness that DW4 is not out there.

The TV announcers were terrible when Israel was in, talking about everything but the game. It looked like he threw some horendous passes and missed a wide open receiver, Cain I think, with a pass that appeared to be at least 5 yards off. Am I wrong?

Israel??? Israel didn’t play in the Wake game.
I agree that the announcers were TERRIBLE! They often talked about so much superfluous Bravo Sierra that had absolutely nothing to do with the game. It’s terribly distracting when you’re a viewer and focused on the game action itself. And the ongoing ESPiN self-promotion about upcoming shows with many of the poor quality employees that their network currently employs is just horrendous!
Now back to the announcers......... the play-by-play “announcer” is terrible. The most annoying monotone delivery I’ve ever heard!! There has to be other professionals better than that.
The color analyst never shut up! For Gods sake, there are times in a game where silence is appropriate. You people forget that we are watching the action live and can see what’s happening. It’s not like radio where we are ONLY listening and need you to paint a picture with your words so that we listeners can “see” the action through you words. That’s why I lower the volume and listen to the radio with your video.
Replace this lead announcer with Roy Philpott who is a thousand times better who you had assigned to this game!!!

My mistake. It was Z. Cooper, and a friend who was there said he missed a wide open receiver by 20 yards. Good grief. Play Johnson for goodness sakes.
And please give us some "real" announcers going forward.
