Alabama quarterback hopes he's shown enough for a Clemson offer

Paul Tyson completed a busy month of June on the camp circuit, and now he hopes he’s shown enough to start reeling in the offers. That includes a coveted offer from the Tigers.

I don't understand why it's so important for these kids to obtain an offer from all the top FB schools around the country. And if they get an offer, they have no intentions of accepting the offer!!! Is this an ego boost for them, their coaches, or their parents. It seems like it's a big waste of time and money....

scholarship offers are a two way street for the school and

Jun 29, 2017, 5:21 PM

recruit. both want to know if the other has as much interest in you as you may have in them. it's not a waste of time and money for the school to offer and recruit an athlete to choose our school. its not a waste of time and money on the recruit to take visits to schools that have offered. you may visit a camp to try to earn that scholly, but you won't keep making trips with no offer on the table because that means the school just isn't that interested...

but ultimately, an offer from the bigger schools validates your ability to play at the highest level of CFB, especially when those schools are the schools of your choice rather than the school of "these are who have offered"...

with that last name he would be an ideal coot killer

Or an ideal Coot qb. I can hear it now: "Tyson's really in charge of this Gamecock offense...." Of course, if he beats the coots we would hear something like: "Tyson owns the chickens." A pretty good name for a boxing career too.

this becomes very evident over the next few years. Plus he has a good array of talent to work with

There are many kids that want a Clemson offer. Like every boy attending Dabo's summer football camp.

Can you imagine the Butthurt in Alabama if he comes to Clemson, especially if he becomes the starter and beats them in a big game?

This kid has not shown enought to warrant a commitment after only his sophomore year to any elite program yet. He needs to prove himself in this upcoming junior year first.......I believe that he has already been told that by our coaching staff....
