Add TFL/sack for 1 point for defense even though sacks are cheap with no hits on the QB.

Yeah it sure would be. As posted above, at least give them points for a tfl. A pick or turnover should be 7 whether they score or not.

The way I read that is that each team (Orange and/or White) will have an offense and a defense. So, defensive points would be allocated to the team on which they play (either Orange or White).

If my understanding is correct, then the "Defense" can't ne declared the winner - even though they may score thee most points.

Yes, it's still a regular football game (Orange vs White), they're just adding ways for each team to add points on the defensive side. Just to make it more higher scoring and exciting...give the defense a reason to play with alil more intensity.

I like it. We can nitpick the scoring system all day, but the best part is we are going good on good as much as possible instead of splitting the first stringers up.
