I really hope that Clemson football is serious about all of it's focus last year on diversity and equity. If we are able to keep TE at OC and are able to hire a POC at DC that would show the world that we are serious about inclusion and diversity. I believe this would help recruiting as well to show we practice what we say we believe.
Anyone have any ideas for new DC hire?

Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act in 64 to prevent that. Liberals did not like the Civil Rights Act then, and they still do not like it now. Stop calling your self progressive when all your ideas are retarded.

The Republicans and Democrats who voted for the Civil Rights Bill were liberal or moderate mainly. The Republicans and Democrats who voted against it were conservative mainly. That was almost 60 years ago. There are no conservatives in the Democratic party now, it’s split maybe 60/40 liberal/moderate. There are no liberals in the Republican party, with maybe an 80/20 split conservative/moderate (Republican party has been smaller every year since the Depression). Long term, the party that gets the moderate majority will be in charge.

where promoting or hiring, by sex or race, has been a good thing. This dates back to the 70s, for you youngins. And it has caused nothing but incompetence since then. Diversity? Your definition of diversity has to do with optics. The REAL type of diversity should be the diversity of thought and ideas so a leader can have multiple options in which to then use critical thinking skills to come to the best optimal conclusion.

Pick the best person for the job. I dont care if they are black, white or brown, as long as they bleed orange. Under no circumstances do we hired someone BECAUSE they are a certain color, be it black, white, brown, pink or cerulean. This idea that we must hire someone of color in order to satisfy some inept logic is assinine.

Hire the most qualified. I don’t care if he is purple. All this diversity BS is just that BS. You ever notice how diverse the team is. Part of what’s wrong in this country.
