I live in Georgia, halfway between Gainesville and Cartersville and surrounded by UGA fans. And I simply cannot impress upon you how AWESOME it is that 2 Georgia boys (Deshaun and Trevor) decided to go to Clemson and win us a couple of National Championships. #SmugLife

I live just north of Cartersville..
My stompin' grounds gives Clemson Trevor(Cartersville), and Grady Jarrett (Adairsville), as well as DW4.

This is a great post. I was there during the Jordan, Tuttle, Davis, Perry era, and I'd completely forgotten that Jordan was from Athens.
I helped Jeff Davis work out once at Clemson Nautilus (I manned one side of the deltoid extension machine; another guy was on the other side) - I had to bend my knees and *squat* to get my half of the weight stack up - that guy was S-T-R-O-N-G. He and Raymond Jones were in my freshman English class and I was starstruck with both of them.

C’ville is bad about that. Early in the season I searched all over town for some Purple Hurricane swag to add to my Clemson tailgate. A flag, license plate, pennant, sign....anything. Couldn’t find anything other than some stickers and a hat. I even called the school and they didn’t know where I could get anything either.
