Need techie help for Saturday’s game

Sep 18, 2019, 6:19 PM

For the 1st time in 3 years I was able to find wheelchair tickets for my husband (Clemson alumni-had a stroke 4 years ago). My question—-is there a way to listen to the radio while at the game.
What type equipment would I need for this?
Thank you all very much

If you have a smart phone, it's just as easy as listening on WCCP's website, I'd imagine (not sure if there are network restrictions that don't allow them to stream the game, but if not, that should be the easiest way).

Edit: There's also a WCCP app, and 93.3 also simulcasts the games, so their streams should be available, too.

Won’t be able to stream in the stadium. Will be difficult to even get the webpage to open.

A regular radio works. I used to bring one of those headset radios and it did great.

Try calling the Clemson ticket office and explaining your situation. Surely they have a young intern/techno geek with an answer. Glad you were able to get the tickets!!!

What equipment do you need to listen to the radio? A radio. Headphones. Or the headphones with radio built in.

I don't think most cell phones have this feature, but my LG has an FM Radio app. It uses the wire from the ear phones as an antenna and works pretty well.

Here ya go...

Get a cheap portable FM radio with earphones like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Horologe-Portable-Pocket-Speaker-Earphone/dp/B07D522RKW/

Tune it to 105.5 FM (The Roar) while you are in Clemson.

If you have a smart phone, Tunein radio app always works for me as long as I have a decent signal. There is a slight delay but it works.ot picks up all local fm stations, in fact I listen to 105.5 the roar on it every day.

I stream the game just fine on my phone in the stadium. I use a free app called simple radio. In the app, Search Clemson and 105.5 the Roar comes up. I would recommend over the ear headphones ??. It’s just too loud in the stadium for ear buds.
