This is just a few of the posts on the Game day thread of the USC vs Clemson game on Cockytalk. Not a happy bunch! I know it was a long time ago... but some things never get old!

Well Kentucky just beat Louisville. If they can do that we can beat Clemson.

I'm scratching my head at all the "play calling sucks" comments.... if we run and we get stuffed....play calling sucks… if we pass and don't complete the passes....play calling sucks. Somewhere along the line, we actually have to execute. It's not all playcalling folks!

Our DB's must be stuffed with fluffy goose down, do they weigh like 40 pounds? Other teams carry them like 15 yards on their backs into the inzone.
It's embarrassing when you know you have no chance, and its still the first quarter.
My only question is how did we get so soft and fluffy and stupid? How did we go from 10 win seasons and 5-0 against the taters to this hapless pile of crap? The problem is the AD.

I just don't see the gap closing as long as they keep bringing in 4 and 5 stars. Getting plowed on prime time ESPN is not going to help.

Clemson players are worried about the Nat'l Championship and their NFL careers...our team is worried about scoring more than 7 points....
Right now it is facilities, perks and the fact they have risen to an elite level. If you were a "non loyal" HS 4 or 5 star player, where would you go? The team playing for playoff contention regularly or the one scrapping to play in a bowl?
Whole team should have to get a #1 blade haircut after every loss.

it's a big money sport, Put the players parents on lakefront properties, with a even more comfy job, than the other schools.
Yeah, seemed Tigers wanted it more than Gamecocks. But, Tigers are on their way to a national title and Gamecocks are on their way to Shreveport

Perhaps the view was better from the sidelines, or maybe sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut! What a dang FOOL!
