TNet should only allow positive poast

Oct 16, 2022, 7:54 AM

And all others should be censored. We could be like FB and Reddit and auto mod remove anything that doesn’t pump positive vibes. That should make everyone happy!

Need to start a sub forum called "Tiger sunshine". Only sunshine pumping allowed there. If anyone complains about griping, mods should place them in Tiger Sunshine jail.

who complain about a 6 point win and a 7-0 start. Just check and see if their IQ is above their age. Right now I doubt most of the dumpers have that quality.

They obviously were not around for the 57-0 thumping we took from FSU. If they were, they would be happy.

Yes! This board has too many people on it! Get off my board with your negative vibes!

Oct 16, 2022, 9:20 AM

I do not like people who are not positive, disagree with me, are idiots, etc.
That type of negativity should not be allowed. I am not happy that it exists here. I am not not kidding. Wait who said that? Go tigers? I’m confused

I do not like people who are not positive. It is usually those people who want to fight with or censor people who disagree with them. I simply try to stay away from those negative people and let them be miserable without me. Positive people generally are more tolerant than negative people.

If they didn’t have a positively and negatively charged side, they wouldn’t power anything. Same goes for tnet and the inner workings of all the individual minds that power these tnet personae. Let us give thanks for the pumpers and dumpers that exist within and around us all!

There were parts of the game where we played lights out and parts of the game where we could have played better.

What's wrong with pointing out both? This is a message board for God's sake!

How did TNET get so soft and unable to tolerate differing opinions?

Many of our fans get way too offended and butthurt over the smallest things, even things that don’t exist.

Thank you. It’s okay to have a difference of opinions and be critical. I know I’m not as old as some on here (33) but I remember as a kid it being very hard to watch at times. I don’t really remember West and definitely don’t remember the Hatfield era. I pretty much have the Bowden and Dabo eras in my memory right now. Sure I’ve gotten to see a lot of wins and have been spoiled. That doesn’t mean wanting to see a complete effort for 60 minutes means I’m a Debbie downer or b!tching. I believe this team is special and can make a ton of noise while pi$$ing a lot of SEC fans off. This team is into the Championship phase of the season and I’d like to see them play their best ball now. I understand winning is hard and nothing is certain but they have to finish strong. Do not give the media or people on the playoff committee any reason to over look Clemson.

Re: TNet should only allow positive poast

Oct 16, 2022, 9:32 AM

I think there should be a separate board for all the whiners during games. Let them b I t c h and moan between themselves so I don’t have to see it.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's what I'm saying...

Oct 16, 2022, 10:33 AM

If you feel the need to spew your whining streams of consciousness like, "this coach or that coach sucks" or "this player or that player is a bust" in the middle of a game (we've won them all by the way), then it should be easy to create a page where the panty wearing men can get their jollies amongst each other. Us men who understand football and have lived through the ups and downs don't want to read the garbage from the johnny-come-lately people.

Most people would support a discussion of specific issues but the vague gloom and doom posts are tiresome at best.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: TNet should only allow positive poast

Oct 16, 2022, 10:04 AM

No. I don’t think any negative discussion should be allowed at all. You allow something innocent to take hold and the next thing you know people will be saying we should play all 4 quarters like we want to win. You simply cannot allow this to happen. When I come in Tigernet I want to be around people that think we are the best there ever was, not a bunch of sad nay sayers

Oct 16, 2022, 10:25 AM

need their own board.

Not a darn thing wrong with constructive criticism, but whiny b!tching is very unbecoming for Clemson "men", and most of us Clemson men are embarrassed by it.

Re: Nah, but the "men" who feel the need to whine and b!tch

Oct 16, 2022, 10:42 AM

That’s funny. Real men are generally pretty confident and taught to suffer fools. The world is loaded with them it seems and you’re simply not going to be able to isolate yourself in an Orange bubble. When DJ was playing like crap, many on here pointed it out and it was obvious. Now that he’s playing really good no one is saying that anymore.
When the dreaded Bubble Screen was the first down play on every series, many noticed and pointed it out. The coaches were blamed. Praises to Jesus are going out on the board that we seem to have finally changed it up a bit and rightfully so. When Wiggins was getting eaten alive many called it out. It was hard to watch. Wiggins is playing like a man now and you see nothing but praises. I’m not trying to lecture you on tolerance but when you have a forum discussing football you are bound to hear complaining. Free speech ensures that you will have to endure it. We can go the Shinning Light North Korean route but to be honest it wouldn’t be the same place and would get boring real quick.

Exactly, there are a few idiots that bash players and coaches and overreact to something they don't even understand. If a certain player or coach is in fact less than stellar, there are many ways to make that point without attacking the persons character. So we have the legitimate constructive criticism and then poorly expressed emotional comments. Most are smart enough to separate the two. So it should be a board for all fans. It gets old when any small criticism is flamed. Yes, I was around when Florida State beat us like a drum under Coach Hat and several other coaches as well. So what? Different players and coaches now - one makes over 11 million per year and is one of the highest paid in the country. No expense spared on any football facility. With all that said, we won against a mediocre team and looked terrible down the stretch. Look at the yardage gained and given up. Simple facts and data. No need for a flame.

Anything that doesn't push the narrative that everything is wonderful should be censored and anyone who says otherwise is peddling misinformation. That should make all the board Democrats happy since thats the world they are already living in.

I think the internet needs more censorship!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: TNet should only allow positive poast

Oct 16, 2022, 11:56 AM

I’m sure that would depend on who was doing the censoring. Liberals wouldn’t like it if it were say, Trump doing it. Tigernet wouldn’t like it if the complainers got full control. You see, free speech is only that if fools are allowed to speak, otherwise it may be and most likely will be the fools that are only allowed to speak. Let people talk and you are smart enough to decide what the truth is
