I don’t know about that. They will put Cam Smith on Antonio. That dude could be a 1st round pick. I think we’ll need Beaux and Ngata to make plays outside. Davis and Briningstool need their fair share of targets. And we will need to utilize Shipley out of the backfield.
Most importantly though, we need to run the ball like we’re capable. Their front 7 isn’t special. Our OL really needs to dominate like they did last year.

I agree Leo. I think that a”lesser known” player will step up big in this and lead the offense to a bigger win than many expect. Clemson has its share of star players like Shipley and a few others but I’m expecting a great performance from someone else. I expect the coaches are
also thinking this way.
The defense will have its best game of the year against our “opponent”!
These next two games have all the cards on the table. Win and win big. Force the committee to respect you.

I think our competitor will be expecting DJ to run a lot in this game and will prepare for that. I know if I was the opposing coach I would take that away from the Clemson offense. But, doing that will open up some other options for the offense. The two backup running backs for the Tigers each impress me. I can see The OC using them in the running game and Shipley more in the passing game. The chickens are going to take away the pitch sweep to Shipley that was so effective against Miami last Saturday. Time for a breakout game for the two tight ends also. You used to hear analyst say that the game will be like a chess match but that phrase isn’t used much anymore but this big game may come down to who makes the best moves!!!
I can see the Tiger defense having their very best game of the year and, if that happens,
Katie bar the door, Tigers win and win big!
After all.... we are playing the university of South Carolina. Ho Hum

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if we run out there in a 22 and put turner or Randall out there. Then we can run Cole/Randall on a crossing route and then slip briningstool out. They'd be playing run all day.. and we could run it like last year, or chunk it to briningstool. Or possibly get them caught in no coverage for Randall.

I can’t wait to see how their offense looks against our front 7. We know our DBs aren’t great, and they have good WRs/TEs. But, we will pressure Rattler more than any team they’ve played since UGA.
If Sheridan, Nate, and our safeties play well, they won’t be able to get to 20 on us.

Agree. I liked the mizzou tape as well. They threw some looks at him that frustrated the entire offense. Then they just methodically churned up and wore them down. They really limited the number of scar possessions. Kinda like we did them last year.

We really just gotta limit our turnovers this game. We can't turn it over 3+ times and expect us to blow them out. I'm not expecting our passing game to finally come alive all of a sudden. But we can stop turning it over all the f###ing time hurting ourselves. We do that and I think we cruise to a 3 TD victory.

I just can't believe we went from a team that didn't turn it over much in the first half of the season, to a team that can't stop turning it over the second half of the season. Mind blowing.
