And this is from my perspective as a Clemson grad who loves the upstate, and is about to send off a kid to UF for the second time...
1) We will pay you more than UF pays you.
2) We will encourage you to involve Jack Leggett in the program and honor him in any way you see fit. Or not. It will be entirely up to you.
3) You will have the means and opportunity to live on a clean, beautiful lake that doesn't have alligators.
4) You won't have to live in Gainesville anymore.
5) You can get the heck out of Alachua County.
I'm not Kevin O'Sullivan and I have no idea what he wants in life, but any one of those points would be enough to convince me.

#2 is the most important aspect to move him into the realm of possibility. Not sure how/what he can do, be offered to do that he wouldn’t see as a betrayal.

Nah…not sure why some are so fixated. Plenty of great coaches available so why focus on a guy who is basically unobtainable? Also wish Jack the best but don’t really want him involved with the program given his unresolved emotions.

My understanding is that Monte made $500,000 a year, and O'Sullivan makes $2 million a year.
I don't see Clemson paying that much for a baseball coach, nor do I think we should. That's ridiculous for a program that loses money.
The only way I see O'Sullivan coming here is if he fell in love with Clemson when he was here and is willing to take a pay cut to coach a program that isn't currently as good as the one where he coaches now. That's a tough sell, but sure, give him a call and see if he answers.
