You can laugh about BIG XII but we would be better served as a member of the BIG XII than the ACC. I hate being a part of the ACC, we are treated like an outsider, in my opinion.

That is a false representation of what was said. They are NOT looking to expand, but if they did they would look east. There are NO teams available that would be worth splitting the Big 12 "pie", as they would all cost more $$$ than they bring in. IF they felt compelled to add two schools, it would be Connecticut and UCF as they would be most important for TV viewers and recruiting exposure.

I disagree because of what happened to TCU and Baylor

I called it before the season that the Big 12 Champs would be left out in the cold because of a lack of a Conference championship. If the Big 12 wanted to get back at the SEC for taking TAMU and Mizzou, and tto expand to rabid markets with amazing talent, the would expand to 14 and take a combination of Clemson, FSU, NCSU, G Tech, Louisville, and V Tech. They would also pick up the rivals of 4 SEC schools all of who are on the rise, possibly showing a showcase of dominance over the SEC.

Why the hell would any of those schools you mentioned want to go to the Big 12.
Given the new contracts for TV rights, proximity of schools to one another, buyouts, etc. none of those schools you mentioned would leave for several, several more years, if at all.
The cons outweigh the pros at the moment.

That way the SEC can add Clemson and Florida State.

My guess would be 5 teams:

Clemson V Tech FSU Louisville or NCSU G Tech
Why? Not only for football strength but also for recruiting territories to get back at the SEC. That was my prediction that would eventually come from the SEC taking TAMU and Mizzou. The only question is do you take NCSU for the recruiting hot bed and to officially put a dagger in the heart of the ACC (I really think there will only he 4 power conferences when all is said and done, and without these teams, the ACC is hotter garbage than Cootville) or do you take Louisville to get all 4 SEC rivals? Or do you go ahead and take 6? Or do you leave out G Tech because of the lack of enthusiasm of their fan base, given that the other teams have fan bases who are ravenous and borderline crazy?

Are you forgetting that all acc teams signed away their tv rights for at least a dozen years. Not gonna happen!

look at the way the ACC was disrespected this year with an undefeated FSU finishing 3rd.

no team can leave with the GOR in place especially with 12 years left; you're riding a dead horse. The ACC > B12 anyway. B12 is going to lose $/per team with any expansion they do. They will get a waiver on the championship game rule.

I thought I had read that they had VERY VERY VERY initial contact with Memphis (a lot due to the fact that Memphis has that "sugar daddy" (i.e. like Oklahoma State - T Boone Pickens; Oregon - Nike) in the form of FedEx. Just can't remember where I read it, so not sure how reliable the source was... but do recall the article being sure to say over and over that it was just talk at this point.

I always thought maybe Clemson and FSU along with VA Tech would be their choices! But who knows this day and time.
