This morning I emailed the general manager of WLOS, the sports director, the regional sales director, and the President of Sports at ABC.....
Everyone,
Good Morning. Mr. Burton, in case you have not heard from WLOS viewers, I thought I'd let you in on the absolute
disaster that is the WLOS programming. Saturday, WLOS was granted the Clemson vs. Pitt game as it moved from
the ACC Network. On the final drive of the game, with Clemson on the goal line, WLOS made the decision to stop
broadcasting the game and cut to a marathon of commercials. This, seemingly, endless chain of commercials went
so long, it started to loop over and repeat itself. This cut out the end of the game, the post game interviews, and a portion
of the next game. Currently, the Clemson alumni groups and athletic groups are instructing all Clemson fans to watch
any future broadcasts on the ABC app rather than tune into WLOS again. This comes on the heels of another debacle where
WLOS, earlier in the season, interrupted a Clemson game to show a repetitive 15-30 cycle of their weather person describing
a tornado threat. Granted, that's a real threat. But after a brief warning, why not just run the graphics at the bottom of the
screen rather than set up a long monologue for the weather person?
I appreciate your time and hope to hear back from you. The people of our region deserve better and I'm sure ABC expects
better.

The endless commercials and that beating to death the tornado information. Repeating the same crap over and over. I live in Asheville and WLOS sucks. Clemson is right down the road and they are all about UNC sports.
