I have a stihl backpack mexi-blower

And a ryobi 40v cordless that I recently bought.
Despite the backpack being wayyy more powerful, 9/10 I use the handheld. It's way more convenient, and I use it for other stuff too like blowing out the garage, that I wouldn't do with the gas blower.

I don't need all the power in the world. Just enough. Seems like handheld would be easier.

I tried to salt steaks with them Saturday and it just wasn't quite enough. Really impressed father in law with manliness though.

For gas blowers, I'd say stick to Stihl, Husqvarna, or Echo. If you want a non-UDP one, avoid Lowes and Home Depot and go straight to a dealership.
As a land baron with a sizable estate, I don't mess with electric blowers. I just did a quick search for 'lectric blowers and realized that the big three brands I mention earlier don't do much with 'lectric blowers.
TL/DR - I don't have any useful to add to the discussion.

Just how big is this estate? Do you have a lake? Can I build a tiny house and park it by your lake?

It's somewhere between sizable and palatial. No lake, but there are three ponds. We're right next to a school, so as long as you are approved to live within 1 mile of a school, we may be able to work out a deal... you know... squid pro row...

I got 2 different hand-helds

I have a craftsman battery powered. Very light and with the lithium batteries it lasts for a lil while, but it usually takes 2 batteries to blow drive way, deck and porch. Not extremely powerful but always worked at my old house where we didn't have very many leaves.
I also have a gas powered Echo. Great blower, cranks fast and is powerful as all getout. Only complaint is that it's heavy and after about an hour of blowing (I have a fuckton of trees and leaves) your arm gets tired. At some point, I will probably upgrade to a backpack but it seems like a waste of money right now to have 3 blowers.

You just blowing off a driveway? If so, why go gas powered?

Corded are cheap AF and don't break nearly as often*
We used them alot as kids when we had multiple yards we cut and they were always a PITA to get cranked. I use a corded one now and it does the job, but it is only for the driveway and walkway. If you plan on blowing your yard, just get a bagger for the lawnmower.
*May or may not be entirely true.

I still use my grand dad's that he bought who knows when. Probably 10 years old at least, starts second pull. Now if you've already got a bunch of tools like Dewalt or something that run off of the same battery I'd go that route.

FYI...12 gauge 7.5 shot will totally vaporize a snake head. Especially when they stand up tall like they think they're a king cobra or something.

I cut the downed tree this past weekend with a Mac 10\10 chainsaw. It's a small homeowners tool that was made around 1960. You know how to take care of that engine because you have dealt with outboards. The average homeowner would ruin a Stihl engine in three years.
Well, he's think it's ruined anyway.

I'm running a 20 something year old Husqvarna 55 Rancher

that I bought off of craigslist for $75 a few years ago.
I probably have $125 in it and it runs like a raped ape. It puts my dad's army of Pull-ons and crapsman saws to shame.
I have been looking for a project saw like a big bore Dolmar or a 65+cc Stihl or Husky, but my little 55 rancher is running too good to justify the $$$.
