1717 in Germany. November 25th happened to be this past Saturday where we dominated the shamecocks. His 5x great grandson, my great grandfather was the first person in my Family to go to Clemson. The stars aligned.

The math here is making my head hurt. If he’s your 6x great grandfather then you are his 6x great grandson, correct? So how is your great grand father who is 3 generations removed from you (you - father - grandfather - great grandfather) only 1 generation removed in difference from you to your 6x great grandfather. This feels like a puzzle from an old Games Magazine.
