I've watched us play below the talent level of the team for two full seasons. I will continue to do so on TV but I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars to sit there and watch it in person. If that makes me a coot then so be it.

The product on the field isn’t worth multiple day excursions anymore. I changed flights/busted my ### to make the noon kickoff vs SC, and I have lost my mind over the coaching insanity.
I did, however; give my tickets for tonight’s game to a family of Clemson fans.

glad I skipped.
Same for ACC game - left our seats open. Didnt even try to give them away. Noone wants to go.
In our family everyone is up to their gills with Dabo and that's saying something given.
But as we're just outsiders who "dont have a friggin clue" I doubt Dabo wants or needs us there.

The trip to ND was well worth the cost for me. Checked an item off my bucket list. The campus and the ND fans we met Friday were awesome. Absolutely the trip would have been better with a win but don’t waste any energy feeling bad for me. I enjoyed every minute except about 4 hours Saturday night.

if we're "unprepared" every week?
Fact is, we're as prepared as can be considering the constraints of the QB. You can have a winning gameplan on paper, but you need a QB capable of consistently executing it.
Somehow our unprepared program has milked 10 wins (and going) and a ranking of #9. How does that add up?!

As it is, we're projected to finish with the 10th highest SOS.

If it's not enjoyable to attend or to watch then a planned alternative is always a good option. Eventually the seat taxes, parking costs, and mediocre product will all combine to impact season ticket sales. Currently in the 55,000 range which was down slightly from 2021. In 2019 it was roughly 60,000. It will surely be down again next year. Clemson fans are loyal but the prices for tickets on the secondary market is much lower as expected the last couple years. I can handle some losses but the time investment to attend a game is light years from what is was with the same 58,000 season tickets (and full a full stadium) back in 89. At some point the climb is just not worth the view. All the price increases are helping to cover the enormous increase in costs but I'm not sure how much more can be squeezed from the fans. Guess a better TV deal will be the difference maker.

QB turd only so much. We've squeezed as much water out of that stone as humanly possible. A staff unable to adjust like we have, would have won 7 or 8 games max with the QB situation as it is.
We're 9th in the country with 10 wins and possibly an Orange Bowl and 2 more wins. That would be a miraculous coaching job considering the constraints at the most important position on the field.

There are no OCs or WR coaches who can make things work when the QB so obviously lacks execution.
The fact we've squeezed 10 wins and a #9 ranking with the constraints at QB, this speaks volumes about the OCs IQ and ability to find a way to win in spite of the elepant in the room.
It ALL starts with QB. Nobody is getting fired.
Do you have any hobbies you actually enjoy? If I were you, and thankfully I'm not, I'd find something to do that doesn't turn me into a sappy, whining, teenage girl. Know what I mean?

That's weird since youve apparently heard it from "multiple" Charlotte area folks. So how many?
You want to explain to your bevy of Charlotte friends that Cade is 11 of 22 (50%) for 98 yds (4.5 per comp), with 1 TD and 1 INT and a rating of 93.3
Meanwhile DJ is 227 of 365 (62.2%) even after 27.6% last week. He's thrown for 2,511 yds (6.9 per comp), with 22 TDs and 7 INTs and a rating of 136.0.
Cade may eventually lead us to the playoffs and another trophy, but he's not ready to start this year.
