Why? What does graduation rates have to do with winning football games, if that's all you care about. Obviously, Georgia doesn't.

Exactly. Who cares if football players are skating through crip courses like PRTM or just not graduating. I technically had Spanish with our QB when Inwent to Clemson. I say technically because he literally never came to class after a couple weeks. They're not real student athletes and haven't been for a very long time.

...."So, what's your point?"
If the NCAA, SEC and UGA administration don't care about graduation rates, why should fans?

No one reading this really cares about football graduation rates. They want to win football games. When they do, they lord that over their rivals. When they don't, they pretend to care about who graduates.

I always care. Sure don’t want a bunch of dumb jocks devaluing my degree by association.

Dude you are close to where we were before 21. Enjoy it because you are a few key recruiting misses and bad hires from taking a step back like we did. Nothing lasts forever.
I’m embarrassed a Clemson football fan is talking graduation rates. Loser mentality.

Jawja fans don’t care and we wouldn’t either!! But hey, Dabo’s fanboy Don wants that to make everyone feel better just in case UGA boat races us tomorrow.

We used to care about it. What is the #### point of having football teams representing colleges and universities if they are not real students in good standing? What does it prove? That your school can put together a decent minor league team that has nothing whatsoever to do with higher education? I am quickly losing interest and am already looking forward to baseball. I never thought I would think that much less say it. Oh, and it should matter that UGA has the lowest graduation rate compared to Clemson's #1 ranking.
Sorry. I have been trying to talk myself into feeling the same excitement I have felt for Clemson football since the '70s. So far, it's not working. I hold nothing against those who don't share my opinions and hope you enjoy the season. What happened is not the fault of the fans.

What matters is the scoreboard. You are a Clemson fan. It’s not so bad that academics are what brings you peace.

Please do not include all Clemson fans in your opinion. It is your opinion and does not reflect all others. Football is a game. In the broad scheme, football is a diversion from the fact I have to work and support a family. I want them to win. Want them to beat the #### out of the coots. Ultimately, 90+% of those playing football will be in the same boat as me. I would much rather them get the education, make something out of their lives and then contribute to Clemson as strong men and women than your greedy, delusional, vainglorious, self centered image of those people.

Things must be bad when Clemson is flexing this and not trophies. It wasn’t so long ago when we were the alpha on the field and not just in the classroom.

I guess graduation rates are what we will be discussing this year. Based on my experience with athletes when I was at CU from 76 to 81 and when my daughter was there from 2007 to 2011 there's probably not a lot of crowing to be done about our grad rates. Very few grads actually get degrees that mean a whole lot. What was it back in the day, RPA? Not sure what it is now.

Exactly. And considering how many BLM loving rabid leftists are in that locker room year after year, I'd say that their "graduation rate" is irrelevant because they lack common sense & decency.
