Cade has been there since January. If he is not ready (by now), whose fault is it? He was rated as one of the best QB's coming out of HS last year. He can't get on the field when the starter is playing like crap? It doesn't add up.

It's hard to understand striperfan because DJ is the most inconsistent, slow-moving, and poor-under-pressure QB that most Clemson fans have seen play college ball on any team at any level.

Look, I'm ready to move on as well. I think everyone is, including Dabo and DJ. But he's simply not going to make a change at starter unless the backup has actually earned it. Cade clearly hasn't.

There is no way Cade can be worse than DJ! None. That’s just an excuse from coaches and their enablers to keep DJ as starter. If he’s worse, or not ready to go in and help this team, that is on Dabo and Streeter and the infamous “passing game coordinator” Richardson.
So tired of Dabo and self-righteous people propping him up, his staff, and DJ, acting as if we’re stupid and shouldn’t trust our own eyes.

Exactly, I’m not arguing that we prob shouldn’t have seen more of cade in some situations and see what he was capable of but I think we have also been spoiled expecting every 5* qb that comes in is just ready

That's the only thing I can think of.
You must have to be at practice to know; but hard to believe Cade isn't at least showing flashes of what made him one of the most coveted recruits coming out of H.S.
Is he not showing it in practice or what in other words?

Dabo has shown that he will bench the starter and replace him with the younger guy if the younger guy is better.
I believe he would be playing Cade more if Cade were ready.
People who are looking for cockamamie explanations for DJ continuing to play such as Dabo throwing games or someone blackmailing him or NIL influencing DJ’s playing time are being ridiculous. None of those things are true.
DJ is the best QB we have, and that’s a huge problem.
Again, DJ isn’t the reason we have had two disappointing seasons in a row. It goes much deeper than that.

DJ should absolutely start Saturday's game. I don't believe we beat Wake, NC State, or FSU without him, and those games were largely our ticket in. He has earned it from a season standpoint. From there who knows.

scores of each. FSU has cracked the Top 15 now. DJ is 8-0 in league play this season as the starter. You don't not start that in the league title game unless he's physically unfit.

When you have a huge ego, and think everything you do is perfect, and can't take criticism, everything you do is right. Dabo thinks he is Clemson Football. That he owns the team. I got news for him, many Clemson fans are generational fans and were supporters of Clemson FB while Dabo was a Bama fan/player. He is being paid 11 million dollars a year to be a clemson fan and supporter. Current Clemson fans and future Clemson fans will be here and supporting Clemson FB with money, long after Dabo is gone. He is thin skinned. He loves reminding everyone of how great he is.
