Most exciting game in your memory

I would say the 2016 Championship and the hurricane game with ND. Tigers took both. In both games the team refused to yield.
That time we closed down Woody Hayes is historical. Beating the shamecocks was fun until they became irrelevant.

And I’ve been watching Clemson ball since 1981 (my first memory of college football was this game.. (I was 7, so I mostly remember the adults being excited and getting to eat burgers and ice cream.)
Some great games over the years, but beating Bama for the title after losing to them so frustratingly the previous year and it also being the game that solidified Dabo as a Clemson legend makes this a no brained for me.

Chris Fowler on Louisville's last gasp 4th down play. Lemeur Jackson and company had been causing our defense so many problems all day, it was almost a shock to the system when they came up short in the end. But, so glad they DID!

One of the most exciting games that I actually attended was our home game against Notre Dame in 1977. They barely won I think 17-21. I think they may have gone on to be national champs that year. We were on the hill and never sat down, about the loudest I've ever heard Death Valley. Such a fabulous game!!

Mine for Clemson.
1. Beating Nebraska in Orange Bowl. Even though Clemson was ranked #1 most experts were picking Nebraska. As I recall the general consensus was Clemson wasn't physical enough to play with Nebraska and Nebraska would dominate both LOS. I remember somewhere around the 3rd quater the announce said something like, "Clemson playing smash-mouth football." My dad and I both smiled and said "Yes!" So much for not being physical enough.
2. Watson to Renfrow. Nuff said.

Fl st. 2015. When Gallman broke that final run to seal the game, the valley went nuts. It’s also probably the loudest game i’ve ever been to also.

I hope you guys understand that we got to feel something that the overwhelming majority of college football fans will never feel. Reading the board over the years I can tell you that some around here have no true appreciation for how difficult it is to win a national championship in football especially at a school no bigger than Clemson is. I always knew we could be a consistent top 15 team but to be as dominant as we have been the last few years was well beyond any expectation I had for our football program. Dabo is the man. Thank you to the players, coaches, staff and many others that played a role in what we have experienced as fans here the last few years.

This will be an outlier with a 1992 game versus Florida State in Death Valley, it was Clemson’s first night game, Both teams were in the top 10 I believe, we had been partying since Thursday and the build up to the game was unimaginable. Clemson intercepted the ball for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to take the lead and I thought I was going to dive on to the field. Unfortunately, Florida St had Heisman winning Charlie Ward at quarterback and they drove the field win the game as time expired. It was an unbelievable game until the last couple minutes.
A runner-up would be the 2005 Miami game that went to triple overtime. I slept for about 14 hours after that game

Best game of all time was Vince Young scoring winning TD against USC in Rose Bowl on a 4th down. ESPN was in love with USC before they dropped everyone for the SEC. USC was their best team of all time. Number 2 was the game of the Century in 1971 when #1 Nebraska beat #2 Oklahoma 35 - 31. Number 3 was Clemson beating Bama to win title Number 4 would have been the previous years game against Bama if moron Venables actually understood that a TE was an eligible receiver. Sorry, he was a little overrated in my book. Dabo Dabo Dabo

1. 1992 at UVA. Down 28-0. Skinny unknown backup QB Louis Solomon comes off the bench and leads a wild comeback to win 29-28.
2. 1987 (I believe). Down 30-0 at home to Nc st at halftime. Gross. Ended up losing 30-28, but I vividly remember the crazy comeback (28 pts in a half was a wild offensive explosion for us back then) and how supportive the crowd was. Down 30-0 at half and no one left. The team was loudly cheered when they came out of the locker room for the 2nd half.

The 1934 game with Furman stands out

I actually played wing in the first half, but I had to go cut hay before the 3Q started. Eddie Dalrymple started for me in the 2nd half and never gave me my job back. But, the main thing is we won the game which ensured a winning season. I got injured in practice the next week and never played again, but Eddie did fine and I enjoyed watching him.
