Call me crazy, but why are you expecting gourmet food at a concession stand? If you want good food, bring it to your tailgate and eat it before and/or after the game. Why people have to have something to eat during the game boggles my mind.

Girl taking our money needed a calculator to add a $4 hotdog + a $6 cheeseburger that ended up having a crunchy bun.
Not to mention a warm $4 bottle of water. Concessions could definitely use improvement.

Was the $1 bottled water just a special for the first game or something? When it was $4 at the Auburn game I thought maybe it was because the first game was at noon and they expected the sun to be hot and they wanted to cut us a deal on water.
But Saturday was hotter for sure.
Or maybe they just did it for everyone in the upper deck that spent an hour+ in line trying to get into the stadium that first game?
Did anyone else notice the bottled water was only $1 the first game? Or did I happen to walk up to a concession stand that was running some sort of secret special?

hahaha! If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed my friend when she told me. But sure enough that first game, we got 2 ice cold dasani bottled waters for $1 each, unopened I might add
Also - I have never set foot in that stadium and don't plan to. If I ever do, send help because I've been kidnapped.

Didn't someone say you were allowed to take one unopened bottle of water into the stadium last year? Does that also apply this year?

My husband and I haven't had any issues walking in with unopened water bottles this year. I've seen other people around us do the same thing as well.
1 bottle of water is not enough for me for an entire game after drinking all day though. I still always have to buy at least one.

Have you tried that? Maybe it was just the first game, but the water coming out of the fountain was AWFUL and hot. I haven't attempted it since, and will happily pay $4 for cold water.

an unopened bottle in this year. Either folks complained about not being able to take theirs in, or security didn't stop it. So i guess the trade off was if you are going to bring in water, we are jacking up the price.

Ran out of water at half time. Couldn't ever figure that one out
