The last 40 years the media has been telling us the world may end in 10 years because of:

60/70s approaching Ice age per Newsweek in a cover article, the article can be found on-line.
80/90s global warming per all MSM and UN “scientists”
2000s climate change per all MSM and UN “scientists”

And there's no reason for anyone living on it to try and do anything to protect it or dirty it less or, hell, even be concerned by it at all ... ESPECIALLY if doing so inconveniences them in anyway.

That's the wise approach.

The greenhouse gas effect is pretty basic science, but the fossil fuel industry has spent a huge amount of money spreading lies and buying politicians to keep us from doing anything about it.
