I’m sure nobody was more disappointed in Monte Lee’s tenure at Clemson than Monte Lee. After what he accomplished at College of Charleston it just seemed like the next logical step for him and Clemson. Maybe he’s just not a good head coach.

He really only held serve at CofC and his predecessor at CofC had already flopped at Auburn.

Glad Monte isn’t here anymore, but he’s a great person and was a great representative of Clemson. Nothing bad to say about him- he just couldn’t get it done on the field, simple as that.
