We are the only team that has beaten Va. Tech by 2 scores this season.
We did that in their building.
Would have been 3 scores if not for a ridiculous blocked kick ran back(something has to be done about blocked kicks) and a late 4th quarter td.

I know it was an ugly game offensively. Still a positive.

Monday Practice

Hopefully all they do Monday at practice is try to block kicks. Rotate defense every attempt to keep them fresh until the first and second blocking unit can keep them away the ball.

And if it is a game between 2 competitive and relevant teams, it most often will be determined by plays during the game.

It’s who plays better on Saturday. I truly don’t think there is a top-5 team that couldn’t lose to another top-25 team.

There isn’t a “most talented” or “best” team, it’s just about how you play.

Clemson came out prepared and with focus. In the second half at least.

Against Louisville, we 100% sleepwalked. And that was the difference.

we're, 1 week removed from half the board calling for Goodwin's head, and considering we were playing without 3 starters on the line, a banged-up secondary, and a true freshman in at Dtackle, he more than earned his paycheck on the road in Blacksburg

You can't save Goodwin's job because of one game. Have to look at the season as a whole. He nor Conn have done enough to keep their jobs. I will get torched for this but I think what Dabo needs to do is fire both of them, let Reed take over the safeties, bring in true special teams coach/coordinator and a proven DC/linebackers coach. Goodwin has never ever ever coached a position and it's starting to show.
