I can't say I disagree, but if the bird flu were to become transmissible from human to human, it could wipe out a billion people in a matter fo months. This would mean that if you did survive, the rest of your life would suck giant balls as organised human civilization would undoubtedly take a giant step backwords. You appear incredibly ignorant when you make comments like this, not that many of us are shocked.

Just know the mortality rate of the bird flu is about 50%, meaning half the people who get it will die, and not in a fun way. COVID was slightly less than 1% and the impact on the global economy, our soverign debt, as well as our collective mental health, has not been the same since. Multiply that by 50.

There have been 67 cases of H5N1 in USA. 1 fatality. Not quite 50 percent.
The 50 percent death rate is in undeveloped nations with extremely poor medical care.

Why are we up in arms about a virus that has killed 1 in 67 confirmed cases in USA? I work in the poultry industry and I am not worried about it.
