On3 Recruiting Prediction just gave a "Crystal Ball" for Mike Matthews to Tennessee. I hope that changes after his OV this weekend. He's a must get in this class. This upcoming weekend will be huge for all of our "must gets" in this cycle.

Clemson sells itself but sometimes it’s a money NIL issue, our competitors are spending lots of money 💰 like Texas spending $280,000 on Manning’s official visit.
It’s fools gold for many of these young men but it does become a bidding war on the top recruits. They’ll definitely be more decommits because the competition 💰money, not that we can’t play the same game.
You guys need to hire these guys via NIL for your business advertising needs.

That’s a pretty common thing. Miller Lite and Mich Ultra are marketed as “sober up beers”. They hydrate you while simultaneously lowering BAC unless you are drinking more than four an hour.

This weekend is definitely a huge weekend. I don't know if I would classify any single guy in this weekend's group as a "have to have." However, not getting either Coleman or Matthews would be a setback in terms of getting elite playmakers back on the field. By elite, I mean a top 10 WR type. We can win without them but can we win it all without them?

We really need Matthews, Coleman or Wesco, we currently don't have a receiver on the roster with that type of athleticism. All three are a Mike Williams, Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross type of receiver. Moore is a slight step down from the top 3 but is still a big time talent. Alex Taylor is more like a Beaux Collins, runs a nice route with good hands, more like a solid possession receiver working the outside. Staley will excel in the slot.
Losing out on Matthews would really hurt as from everything I have read, we were at the top of his list for quite a while but it sounds like Tennessee has been building momentum. Hopefully this weekend will remind him why we were his first choice for so long.
