I knew he had a law degree... I didn't know he was from out west (and raised Mormon). I don't mean that in a judgy way - just that he cultivated such a crazy-like-a-fox but a bubba image.
It seemed like he had found precisely the place where he was both the perfect match and a place where he could succeed, at Mississippi State (instead of wasting his talents at Texas Tech of Wazzu).
He wasn't the picture of health, but (if true) this is just an awful shame.
