Always been a fan of him. Just occurred to me that he has been at OSU for quite some time, yet you don't hear a ton about about him ever being on the hot seat. To my knowledge they haven't won anything major since he's been there. We know Dabo isn't officially on the hot seat, but a few pontificates like to suggest he is after every single loss. Why?

Unrelated side note, I hope Dabo stays at Clemson forever, but if that's ever not the case, would love to see Gundy in Clemson.

Oklahoma State was a sub-.500 program before they hired Gundy. He's also an OSU alumnus and was a good player for them.

Anyone who thinks Dabo might be on the hot seat hasn't looked at his contract. His buyout is $60 million if Clemson wanted to fire him without cause.

Gundy has definitely had rumblings from his fan base over the years, despite being an alum.

But even moreso, he has been publicly at odds with the admin on several occasions.

It's kind of hard to image him anywhere else. I wonder if at some point he'll just hang it up.
