glad he remembers that game that could have been tighter in score IF we had finished drives.

Me too. We should have won the Usuck game. Too many flubs and Dabo was simply too stubborn in sticking with a totally ineffective DJ. Still can't figure that out. Probably never will. Oh well, let's start a new streak this year. And....GooooooooTigers!!!!!!!!!

Why Dabo thought he had to use gimmicks & trick plays bothered me.
We had the blueprint from the year before, Run it down their throats Shorten the game, and keep their offense off the field

Yep. That crazy kickoff huddle and the inexplicable Mafah fumble a few seconds later. Don't understand why Phil was holding the ball out, like he was practically tempting someone to take it. And the Usuck players gladly obliged. Amazing.

As a fan, what I want to see from Cade the most is when he scrambles out of the pocket to quickly make the decision to scramble throw or just tuck it and run. These scrambles where he runs backwards and risks getting sacked deep or throwing a wild pass needs to stop. If it's not there either throw it away or run for as much yards FORWARD as you can.
I say this as a complete armchair quarterback with zero experience, just as a fan.

I’m with you on that. Probably, in HS he could outrun trouble. It’s a different world now.

Agree. Watching Cade reminds me of Trevor in his first season - Trying to run his way out of trouble as he did easily against HS defenses. He finally gave that up after the concussion against Syracuse which almost cost us that game (Thanks again, Chase Bryce). I think Riley will coach that out of him quickly, but a healthy O Line will make a big difference.

losing the the lamecocks will always leave something dirty in your soul. I know he didn't get a chance to play in the ( inexcusable, never will be tolerated, better not happen again ) last game against the dirtpeckers but hopefully he knows now the gloves are off. Spot the ball.

Screw Tennessee….we GAVE the coots their win. That makes us fans feel a little dirty. Cade should have played (at least) the entire second half. Cade probably felt unneeded when we played Tennessee. He should feel fine…that was ALL on Dabo.
