When I was a kid we covered our Pepsis in ice, thatvwe froze in used milk cartons to save money, and then tossed the crappie right in on top....late in the afternoon when half the ice had melted...you just pulled a Pepai out, wiped the slime off with your shirt...and drank right from the bottle...

Coca Cola cooler.....the handle slide over the top of the lid to lock it in place if you know what I am talking about...

You can change the format but it’s a logistical nightmare. My uncle used to not even worry about the slime. I always shook my head. I’d go as far as to dip mine in the river or lake first and the wipe it down. I remember those old coke coolers. They bring a decent premium nowadays.
