road. Come on, it's embarrassing. Are they a top ten team? Doubtful. I'd guess between 15 and 25.
Was last night a good win? Of course.
Who is better, Wake or Vandy? I'd say Vandy probably.
Would anyone not take a 17-13 win at Wake right now?
I'd take it for sure and think it's one of our toughest games.

It's not the score of the game that is of interest. It is how out of shape, one dimensional, and unprepared their team was for the season opener against a conference opponent. Also of interest is the extreme drop off in talent with their backup QB... right on the heels of Spurier's comments last week about "you're talking about backups? I only talk about real players" or whatever crap it was that he said.

No kidding. The SC's two backups came out there and the one never even considered giving the ball to their only other offensive playmaker (ML) and both looked like they were ready to crap themselves. Neither even had an inclination that they would be called upon. Guess they drank that koolaid that they could stand on the sidelines, keep their uniforms clean and be rewarded with rings at the end of the season.

I'll mock them because their coach got arrested for whizzing on the sidewalk.
I'll mock them because their player arrest record under their two HOF coaches is an absolute joke.
I'll mock them because their stadium is in the middle of an industrial park and crack houses.
I'll mock them because they are on probation for cheating.
I'll mock them because they are on probation for cheating...AGAIN.
It's not about Clemson winning or losing. It's the fact they are my hated rival. I will take EVERY opportunity to mock them.

How was last night a good win? The only thing good I saw about SC last night was their defensive front, ML actually up and running and Shaw's "gutsy/brainless" performance. The game was ugly on both sides of the ball for both teams (although I'd say Vanderbilt's D, while undersized, made some very good plays as well) and was not at all a "good win." A good win is when you play solid football for the majority of the quarters. It was a "thank that ref we won" win if anything and a "reality check, we're not a top-15 team right now" win.
