Didn't owe us a thing. It's a good thing he left too. With the QB situation the way it is he wouldn't have bettered his 2013 numbers.

I should clarify. In my opinion i think we hit a homerun with artavis scott who has really stepped up.
it just seems like he left before he got really good. It was obviously the best decision for him and his family as he is rich now and could have gotten hurt, but what if he edid not get drafted, and scott didnt come in game ready.
it is a moot point and i am probably being silly holding a grudge there, but our offence would be less stale with him, and his career clemson stats seem light to me. i do not have the stat in front of me , but i would have hoped for more receptions, although his ypc were phenomenal.
I hate that we are stale on offence. i am being selfish, but i understand losing guys is part of the game, but to me, he should have given more for what he recieved.

Martavis owes us nothing more

Than the 3 years he gave us. He's an adult and made the decision that he thought was right for him and his family.

I suppose its the whole idea of taking a scholarship from a kid who intends to get a degree who may not be as good.
I know if i were poor and had a son for a student athlete, who lost it to a guy who never had any intention of graduating, i would be miffed.
it is like we are rewarding guys who do not have any intention of graduating, and letting dows STUDENT athletes.
It is another argument, and like i said it is me being selfish to win.

You've got it all wrong, son.

It's all about getting the best athletes we can at every position, regardless of whether they're here 3, 4, or 5 years. With the added requirement of being men of character.

part of the reason i became attracted to clemson tiger athletics over the SEC schools is because of the higher standards.
I am just saying that we are helping to propogate like a minor league for the nfl by doing that too.
I know we could not compete doing it my way, and it would also be a lot less attractive to watch slower athletes who may be better students with the intention of getting a degree.
I will always cheer for any school with higher standards over one who help get men to the nfl, and are getting college credits other kids have to work and pay for.
was tay a high character individual?

of course not those 2 stepped up and led. nuk when sammy went down, and well sammy is a phenon who even in his sophmore slump to me was better than tay ever was.
i get its a business. like i said i hate that we are stale, and feel he would have helped a lot.
our defense may not be as good for many years to come as they are now. even in 2011 i couldnt wait for this year.
bellamy was worse obviously, but you all dont have to listen to these uga fans lol

Stoudt's long ball is his worst throw. Idk what you think the long ball dependent MB would bring to this offense.

Not negativity. A legit question. Brown has been the best receiver in the NFL and Markus Wheaton has been a solid complimentary WR.
