Most every generation of music would be preferred than the current, but I think my parents said the same about my music and their parents about their music.

as I am about the total lack of artistry and talent that I see these days. A lot of Marcus’ music isn’t necessarily my style but he has immense talent. He is a great technician on the guitar. To play the intricate pieces he does and be able to sing as well he does while doing it is not common these days. The fact that he’s writing his own music and doing all this at such a young age is quite remarkable.

The quality and artistry is devoid. There is no meaning or soul to the music produced anymore. It’s a product of the dumbing down of society.
