I got a sneaky feeling LSU will not play well Saturday.
And i still dont believe in ohio st. Im sure itll be a tight game but my gut says that unless we start turning the ball over, ohio st. Will get blown out. I just think ohio st. Sucks.

I think OSU is a legitimate team for sure.
However, I’ve had the same feeling about LSU. I don’t anticipate OU stopping Burrows because they haven’t proven they have an elite D this year. BUT if they can slow him down, then LSU’s run game is paltry (60th in the country) and OU could certainly do it. Of course Vegas strongly disagrees with us.

Vegas sets the spread to get people to bet evenly on both teams. They are not guessing what the score is going to be. Tho many times they are close.

Oklahoma outplayed Alabama in the last part of their game last year. The problem is they started out with deer in the headlights and were down 28 to nothing before they knew they were in a game. Have to think that Oklahoma is at least starting out well. I do not think that LSU is ready this year, but they have proven me wrong for 13 games.

Turnovers. If Hurts can play with zero turnovers, I think OU has a good shot. But, if he has a couple of fumboles and INTs, it could get real ugly.

They are vulnerable, but it won’t be the OU game that they stumble. OU missing key pieces and too inconsistent. It will be in their backyard against Clemson in the natty where the nerves kick in due to the pressure to compete this “dream season” of finally beating alabama, heisman QB, practical home game in the natty where their dreams will get crushed by the machine that is Dabo Swinney’s Clemson Tigers

Burrow and their passing attack has looked scary and can see why people say their going to murder OU.
But then I think back to Vandy scoring 38 on them and Ole Miss rushing for 400 yards. OU and Hurts are certainly capable of doing it if those 2 teams did.
Think OU will run the ball, trying to keep Burrow on the sideline and LSU’s defense out on the field. It might work out for them. That’s the plan of attack they certainly will go for.

"Gut feelings" and wishful thinking won't make OU beat LSU. This is the real definition of fantasy football.
If not from the get, LSU will eventually figure out whatever twist OU's defense throws at them and they will score 5-6 TDs in a row. OU won't be able to keep up.
Don't get your hopes up if LSU's offense starts out a little slow. Once they dial in, it will be a clinic.

I do think people are counting out Oklahoma a bit too much. They probably won't win, but they do have the horses to go score for score with LSU and if they can avoid turnovers they got a shot.

However, if Edwards-Helaire does not play, I think OU is within striking distance and instead LSU by 20 it becomes LSU by ~10.
