Are going to making a lot more money with new ESPN contract with this Brand Fund. Quotes:
-Negotiations surrounding the option ran in conjunction with discussions between the ACC and Clemson and Florida State on a new revenue distribution model aimed at alleviating the schools' biggest concerns over financial disparities with peers in the Big Ten and SEC, both of which have more generous TV contracts signed over the past two years.
Under the proposed plan, a percentage of the ACC's television revenue would be included in a "brand" fund, and that money would then be distributed to schools that annually generate the most revenue for the conference in football and men's and women's basketball -- with Clemson, Florida State, Miami and North Carolina likely at the top of the pyramid, sources told ESPN

Don't think so. It would be better than our cut now, but nowhere near what the sec and B1G make.

then they will fall further behind, thus dragging us down with them.

That's the plan. It's not just ACC "leadership" incompetence, it's malice.***

I don't think the extra incentive will be that much in the end, i can't see those three teams getting $15+ mil each more than the other teams in the conference.

Looks like espn is trying to appease those 4 as much as possible to keep them from flipping to Fox and the B1G until the time is right for espn to lobby the SEC to add those 4 and expand to 20.

I would like to see FSU and North Carolina earn their way back up to the top tier of the conference before getting the “Brand $$$$$”.
We sure had to earn our way up to the top tier and we have to work twice as hard as FSU and NC to get recognition. But Clemson has probably been ACC’s biggest revenue source over the last 15 to 20 seasons. NC and FSU should have to earn their share of the Brand $$$$ and not just have it handed to them.
OP- 👍👍👍 but if I am being honest I am so sick of all of the attention college athletes and sports in general about who makes the most money, NIL, the SEC and Big 10 especially OSU, revenue sharing, Brand money, and everything that since that basketball player opened the door so college athletes basically are now pap for play athletes.
I watch less and less college football and read less sports media. It’s too much about the Money and who is making the most $$$$$$$. Now I can see why Nick and Terry Saban got out of this BS. This is why I wonder how much longer Dabo and Kathleen will put up with this crap.

Those 4 schools are some opinion from some obscure writer. It is very possible that Duke will be playing for the National Championship in basketball and will bring in huge money so don't count them out.

1. No way will this make up the 40-50 million dollar per year deficit between Clemson and SC (or FSU and Florida). 2. Why would the other 13 teams in the conference agree to essentially take some of their money and give it to those 4 schools? ("They're already better than us. And you want to take some of our maoney and give it to them? How are we supposed to ever compete with them?)

It would be a drop in the bucket compared to how much more the SEC and B1G make.

If you read the terms closely it says the fund is supposed to cause both lawsuits from FSU and Clemson to being dropped.
