Looking at top 100 or so recruiting and SC prospects.

Joshua Dobson will be a 5 star cb and is from Fort Mill. He is a top 10 overall recruit.
Jaiden Bryant DE Irmo, Columbia
Seth Tillman Rock Hill, South Pointe HS
Nate Carson OT Irmo, Columbia ,SC
Chanin Harris WR from Duncan SC
Anyway, my question is asking whether Clemson does well with any of those high schools generally? I don't know SC high school football.

Not really with any Fort Mill/Rock Hill players as the Coots had a giant donar there (forget name) but he bought the likes of Clowney for the Coots. He has been in hot water last few yrs but surely he has strings.
Clemson does well with Duncan players and actually do ok with the Columbia area as some kids just want to get away from their homes and experience things even if only 1.5hrs away.

Terrible with Rock Hill area players! However Ft Mill is a RIDICULOUS growing area, and hopefully CU has better luck at those HS, as opposed to South Point, Rock Hill HS, Northwestern etc...... For ex, when I was in HS, Indian Land was a 1A school. It's now 4A!! There are 2 big-time prospects in Ft Mill for next year. You mentioned 1. The other is a WR from Indian Land. As far as Irmo, it depends. If it's Irmo HS, Beamer has a stronghold. If it's Dutch Fork, the Tigers fare much better! 2 RB prospects (1 @ Byrnes, 1 @ Woodruff) & hopefully we can snag 1

isn't kyle richardson the old head caoach at Rock Hill.... just like mickey conn from grayson, ga.... we grabbed conn when we were going after Nkumbeche (misspelled). even though we missed on him, we lucked out with gallman and the QB that won us the game vs cause when TL was knocked out. Plus a whole lot more since then.
As a thank you for recruiting ins...

Kyle was at Northwestern and not sure where he was before that but did not seem to be there many years and not sure how much pull he still has in these parts.
The kid in Fort Mill must be from Catawba Ridge or Nations Ford which hired Bentley. Fort Mill High is horrible in football and I never remember anybody going D1 from there.

When I went to Fort Mill we were the only high school and was classified as 3A. Now I believe the three high schools are 5A. Unreal

I'm a Fort Mill grad as well ('98). I think FM had a couple guys make the league, if I'm not mistaken. Ernest Dixon I'm pretty sure played pro, and Vance Walker went to Georgia Tech then played at least a couple seasons for the Broncos (graduated from FM with my brothers in 2006). Other than that though...I don't remember a lot of football success at all. It definitely doesn't seem like the same sleepy little town it was when we moved there, that's for sure.

These kids want to win and have a secured check 💰💴💵💸 with opportunity to grow and have NIL money coming in too!
They are not so loyal to a certain school unless the money is right and they can trust a team of portal guys won’t come in and keep them On the bench too.

It's a little more nuanced than that. Do you think all the players that are about to sign in this 2026 class are because we paid the most?

We’re in a good spot for Josh Dobson, Sequel Patterson (Indian Land, SC) and Chanin Harris. The Irmo kids are heavy SC leans at the moment.
