Does anyone think we actually will fire Brownell if we don't win a tournament game or advance out of the first weekend? Seems to me like the UNC victory and simply making the tournament saved his job. Would also be hard for Neff to have to hire a mens and womens coach in the same off-season

As crazy as it sounds we are projected to be a 6 seed in the Bracketology that came out early this morning

He started 10- 1 and finished 11-10 with 5 losses to the bottom 6 teams in the league. With the talent he had on this team, that is inexcusable.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.


The team especially the guards are not really talented. Huge recruiting gaps ,***

I get your point, but disagree with the exact verbiage. The team is talented, just not very athletic. Most teams have one or two positions they have to protect defensively. We have three or four. It also limits our ability to press. On the other end of the court, we don’t have a single player we can turn to who reliably can create and make his own shot. This leads to these incredibly frustrating stretches/games where the shots are not falling and we look terrible.

I completely agree but am wondering if whether or not people think we will fire him or even heavily consider it with the recruits we have coming on in

For some reason, he has hung around for 14 years without achieving anything. It is kind of like he caught someone with a cheerleader and he knows stuff.
