That figure was related to attendance being down because he wasn't delivering at his prior numbers, which he knew he needed to in order to keep LJ filled. Alas, when he started having more success, attendance went up.
No need to reference the conference tournament success portion, right? Of course not.

Nice try buddy. It was a direct answer to my "fair question", as you put it. My inquiry was defining what a "winning program" is. I didn't ask about attendance, but that would certainly be a byproduct of success.
I appreciated you answering my question. Many on here don't for fear of it actually may come true. This probably the main reason I remembered discussion.
Please feel free to read the whole back and forth. More importantly, I asked for "target levels". You were throwing that number out as some kind of expectation that I had placed on him as a coach and suggesting that I wasn't consistent, or moving the goalposts, amid topics that were not related to 'winning program' metrics thread from that discussion. I wonder why.
It's clear that you are playing a game of 'gotcha' for whatever reason that motivates you. You be you. It is hysterical to take a trip down memory lane with these complete bozos.
Purnell was so highly thought of, but when brownell loses as a 5 seed it is completely unacceptable.
People clamor on here about OP, but his best accomplishment was making the ACC championship game. During that regular season we didnt have a single ranked win, we lost to unc charlotte, and then proceeded to lose to a 12 seed in the tourney by 6 points.
Yet when we break records for most wins in a regular season, finish with a #12 ranking, have mutiple ranked wins including the #1 team in the nation, but lose to a 12 seed, then it is a horrible season.
Go figure.
Sometimes you just have to laugh at these idiots.

Maybe you forgot all about that later attempt you made at the time, since you clearly stated that specific % as an aim, outright, trying to get me to agree. I might add that nowhere in his prior droppings has the topic been about what constitutes a winning program or not, and that post he shared also has nothing to do with expectations that he is trying to pin that number on.

Why is there this argument over which years are best and the mental gymnastics trying to support a position one has already arrived at? Go over the the trophy cases, look at the numbers and the years, and you can determine which years, which sports, have out performed another!! Other than the time it will take to review all the football hardware, this will certainly be faster than trying to identify obscure stats which mean nothing.
