yep! now a projected 8 seed, that is dangerousy close to a bubble team. After Duke beats us by 20+, probably down to a 10 seed with no real games left against good teams to climb back to a better seed. just a killer loss last nite heading into the biggest week of Clemson basketball in a long time!

What happens in the ACC standings if we lose to Duke. How many teams do you think the ACC gets in this year? Do you think we win Saturday? How about Monday? Where do you think we are if, God forbid, we drop 3 in a row? Potentially alone in 6th place in a 4 bid league.

Yea a mid major program. We are 3rd in the acc. They were robbed tho for sure. So maybe it's possible. NC St got left out at 33 as well. Teams in the 60s have gotten in. It's not all about net but on average we are pretty safe at 33 one would assume. Pretty sure most people who project brackets and have us in know plenty more about the committees process then you or I know.

Bro, the ACC is the 5th best overall conference by the NET matrix and we aren't even close to the Big East in 4th. The other conferences blow us out of the water by NET ranking.
And no, most people who do brackets don't know more. It's a hobby and the dudes who do it for fun consistently blow Jerry Palm and Joe Lunardi out of the water.

27 out of 226 brackets had them in on their final projection. 90% of people who publish a bracket tracked by Bracket Matric knew they weren't getting in. The NET ranking has not been particularly useful for projecting the field. Despite the insistence that isn't used, the RPI still correlates better with the final field than the NET.
