Davidson strikes out way to much and doesn’t have the bat skills to be a good MLB player. He has a good glove but I would be surprised if he plays in the major leagues and shocked if he has a good career

Really? Because I remember him being clutch all last season. Not only has power from both sides of the plate but not like Beer puts the ball in play more so than swinging for the fence every time. I don't know how you felt last year but I would have rather had Logan up over Seth if there was 2 outs and we needed a hit.

Agree. Scouts will see it differently though. They know they can improve his contact unlike monte. Davidson has so much potential that can be reached once he leaves Clemson.

Strikeouts are becoming more and more common. Teams don’t care if you strike out a lot. Heck just look at the orioles, somehow Chris Davis still has a job! What they see in Logan is a very good middle infielder, a switch hitter who hits just as good from both sides, and most importantly, a good kid from a good pedigree. Plus he works counts very well, even if you strike out, if you make the pitcher throw 7-8 pitches, that’s a win.

I started telling folks on an fb Sports page that I want the Braves to draft Logan and ship Swanson off. I would love for this to happen.

But why would you want Swanson shipped off? He is an all around solid ball player.

I am not a Swanson fan. Gets close but not quite there. Pretty sure AZ saw that and knew they had messed up, initially. Then made a bad trade in a panic, it seems. I like Logan's upside and he is a Clemson man.
edit" initially, not intentionally. Did not catch my misspelling/automatic getting a different word.
