Little Vent here

I have not let much bother me in terms of Clemson losing a game here or there. Or what any commentator has to say about Clemson. Losing to UGA didn't bother me, I slept just fine. I thought it would all be fixed by GT. Then it wasn't but we won, so it didn't really bother me. I thought for sure it was just something that needed to click, and it would. Then NC State... and that bothered me a little bit. But what really hit me this morning was seeing (19) Clemson. That's tough.

King Solomon once said, "This too shall pass." I didn't hear him say it but that's what they tell me. Don't beat yourself up over the "execution" of 18-21 year olds.

Could you please provide the verse where King Solomon said that? Going through the Proverbs once a month, but somehow missed that quote.

Look in 2 Corinthians, although I don't believe it is attributed to King Solomon (going from memory here).

I've sat through a few of those games over the years...

A few others that come to mind are:
1993 - The 0 - 57 beating at FSU
1996 - The 0 - 41 Gator Bowl loss to Cuse
1998 - The 0 - 37 loss to Virginia Tech
1998 - The 0 - 48 beating at FSU
2000 - The 7 - 54 beating at FSU
2002 - The Thursday night 6 - 38 loss to NC State
2003 - The 17 - 45 loss at Wake
2012 - The 33 - 70 Orange Bowl loss to West Virginia.
2013 - The 14 - 51 loss to FSU (at home)
There are some others but I've tired to block those from my memory.

not even close to the same IMO
especially the Organe bowl.. That was just a scorefest due to bunch of pee poor converges. it wasn't a physical beat down.
Tex Tech physically mauled Clemson on both sides of the ball.

LSU and tOSU manhandled us worse the past two seasons than TX Tech did. Streeter just wasn’t mobile enough to scramble effectively and took a beating.

VT linked us good in the orange bowl physically (and Vick in his prime didn’t help), but the cuse loss was all McNabb.

I think that I was at 4 of those and the West Virginia game was by far the worst for me. I hate teams that have some stupid little thing for getting a 1st down whether it be "Roll Tide" or "Whoop, Whoop, Whoop, first down," like West Virginia. It got burned into my head that night. We were supposed to stay another day, but I just drove the 10 or 12 hours back home after being so disgusted.

The thing I remember most about that WVU game...

other than the outcome, was how cold it was in Miami.
The low temps were in the upper 30's and low 40's and I wasn't prepared or dressed for it.

I wasn't either, but it wasn't as bad as the Semifinal Sugar Bowl against Alabama. The coldest I remember being off the top of my head was for one of our home games during the Coot run. I am wanting to say that it was only around 20 that night. We must not be a cold weather team.

embarrassment on the rug in The Roach by the Coots. Terrible seats, and an even more terrible game outcome.

At what point do we get going or just let this become a habit and struggle the rest of the way. It is a concern that this may be what we are given the last two weeks. Not yelling or calling anyone out. Just wondering how good we are since we are into midseason now and look average

I think average is an overstatement with our offense near the bottom of the NCAA. We’d be 4-0 if our offense was just average.
