The Hill Nazis posted up there every game checking every ticket killed the full Hill. They are super strict now. It's a shame.

I don’t know why I have to explain this yet again.
But…
This is 100% tied to how early people are willing to show up for the game.
For the bananas game, people showed up early.
In the 80s and 90s…and probably early 2000s…students showed up early to get a spot on the hill.
Nowadays…if students show up at all, they are showing up right around kickoff time because other things are more important to them.
Think about this from an operational perspective.
If you have 5,000 people show up at the gate right before the buses are to pull up with the team…
You cannot just magically place all 5,000 of those people in a spot on the hill.
It’s a process that takes time to develop. And it’s not happening before the team runs down the hill.
I hate seeing the hill half empty when the team runs down.
But it boggles my mind how people cannot think logically about the reason for it.

I was on the hill with my dad, friends, etc during the 90s and early 2000s.

It was Gen Admin. Students did not get there any earlier. They just allowed everyone on the hill.
It is now insanely restrictive. They will not allow your kid to step foot on the hill pregame to watch the team run down.

If people would get there early enough, it would be able to fill up.
Same as the bananas game.
I used to sit (or stand) on the hill for Clemson games.
The hill would be packed 90 minutes before kickoff, especially for a big game.

The Hill is a waste of real estate. Leave a narrow path for team entrance and expand seating. The Hill ceased to be relevant to current students decades ago.
