I know he did not play with Tigers, but did play Daniel...and I was a neighbor watching him grow up here and even played some backyard with him, his big bro, Ronnie was bigger and stronger, but rebelled against his coach Dad, while Pete was devoted to DAd. Ronnie was a big success in Marines, and became devoted fan of Pete later.

3. Grant, both twins played here but the less talented one transferred to Oklahoma, they were skinny freshmen who developed into good, great BB players

Randy Mahaffey...I watched him take down UNC & NC State on consecutive nights in Charlotte. Pretty sure he scored over 30 in each game, and outplayed UNC legend Billy Cunningham.
Skip Wise...probably the most talented to ever put on a Clemson uniform...a shame he wasted that talent!
Greg Buckner...will never forget his dunk that finished off UNCheat in the ACC tournament!
Horace Grant...isn't he the only Clemson player to win ACC player of the year?
PJ Hall...love his grit, playing through injuries, never gives up! Looking forward to his final season!

Murray Jarman!! 6'6" center who owned Ralph Sampson and Sam Perkins during the day. Got drafted in NBA and by Broncos in the NFL although he never played football for Clemson. Stud athlete!

Fair point. Perhaps a little orange tint in my glasses on that one. But it was fun to especially see him play against Sampson who almost had a foot on him. Saw Murray win the tip on him at Littlejohn which was great!

in his last game at the ACCT, if I remember correctly. Kid started out playing in Fike because of transfer rules during the day. What a competitor. Dean Smith was a big "fan", and pointed him out multiple times.
