With three sets of uniforms (Orange, White and Purple) we can add a white helmet and a Purple helmet and maybe a chrome helmet. Then we can mix and match and haveva different combination every week like Oregon does. We already haveva NIKE contract like them.
What do Ya'll say?

Exactly what I was thinking. When Oregon player put up their little "zeroes" they telling you how many National Titles they have.
Let's not be like Oregon, please!
Clemson doesn't need the do flashy to attract good players.

Is like the way they like their sex. Simple, straightforward, never changing, and on brand …. traditional but also predictable and a little boring.
And if sticking with missionary is good enough for years or decades because it gets the job done, then how we do things now with uniforms is how it should always be …

Every now and then you have to really show you want to make a lasting statement by taking full control.... and show just how dynamic you can be. You may not want to take a bull on by the horns..... but firmly taking a woman by both hips .... well....it can be epic enough to be put in the archives.....like the old Raycom Jefferson Pilot segments they used to do at halftimes.......One For The Books

I'm fine with Oregon doing it, but Clemson football's visual identity is the orange helmet with white paw. Don't touch that.

No on the helmets. Don't mess with perfection.
We have 5 uniforms. All orange, all white, orange jersey/white pants, white jersey/orange pants, and purple once per year. That's plenty.

Tommy Bowden used to complain about the team being more focused the uniform combo for the next game than game prep.
The uniforms are fine. Leave them be.

Actually, Dabo has used 8 different uniform combinations--I believe that's the same number of combinations that Tommy Bowden used as well, and tied for most in Clemson football history.
A quick lookup gives the following info on Dabo's uniforms:
Business White pants
White pants/white jerseys (standard away games) - many times
White pants/orange jerseys (standard home games) - same
Championship Orange britches:
Orange britches/orange jerseys: 18-14 record, last in 2022
Orange britches/white jerseys: 22-5 record, last in 2023
Orange britches/purple jerseys: 4-0 record, last in 2022, but also in 2009 & 2010
Military Purple britches
Purple britches/purple jerseys: 10-1 record, last in 2023
Purple britches/white jerseys, 2-1 record, last in 2010
Purple britches/orange jerseys, 1-0 record, last in 2010
I don't believe Dabo ever used but White pants/Purple jerseys, but Tommy did. Someone used to post very detailed information about this on X or Facebook, maybe Austin Pendergist?

Oregon owns the uniform combo smash ups and I pay attention to see what comes out every week. However, when you turn the TV on and see Clemson you have no guess as to who is playing. Like Alabama, Penn St. and others. I love the purple for Military Appreciation but otherwise we can let Oregon win the fashion contest.
