Just make the SEC Championship participants play a best of 3 series and there's your National Champ.
If not that, exclude everyone north of the Mason Dixon. The Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10 and
Notre Dame are banned. The ACC gets to send 1 team every fifth year.
Or make the second best team play Bama at the end of the season. Bama gets a bye and plays only that game every year, until Saban retires.
On a serious note, the Nothern schools are a joke. They are all pretenders.

Yes, because Cincy was not playing comparable competition week in and week out and was able to dial in on the notre dame game for their claim. I’m not mad but it’s laughable to think they’ve had a similar path than most contenders that missed out

I think you’re discounting coaching plans. It’s pretty clear to see talent on the field getting planned for and no talent at all which is what I saw in cincy. Sometimes coaches create blowouts. I don’t think that was the case today. Cincy was not good.
