My memory tonight involves an old radio show called Leonard's Losers by Leonard Postero (1922-2001) The memories were from the 1970's and 1980's riding over to Clemson from Rock Hill, SC listening to his loser calls on the way to tailgate with my father, mother, and brothers. Catching that show in the morning was just as important as Katherine's Kitchen Biscuits and KFC Chicken. lol
It's getting cooler up here in Maine, apple cider season, cool evenings, and I am ready for some Clemson Football.

since I can now hear Leonard, after your remembrance of good & sweet times in life.
Never been to Maine but been to Mass twice and beautiful landscapes & sea shores but does chill down early.

.... I loved him. It was sorta the ESPN Gameday 1.0.
On Monday the Blue Devil's will welcome an ambush of tigers (yep, that is what a group of tigers is called) into Wallace Wade. Purty soon the sergeants of satan will realize the felines ain't there to celebrate Labor Day. Those felines are there for labor, but it won't be a labor of love. By the time the tussle is over Swinney's Siberians will be the only ones standing and Elko's Imps will understand why a group of tigers is called an ambush.

Oh wow! I never missed listening to him when I was at Clemson. I actually got to sit down and talk with him in Athens at a Clemson vs Georgia game. Very nice fellow. He owned a lumber business near Athens, and the show was a sideline.

That s way cool, BeverlyAnne! He was a staple for us on fall Saturdays. Riding to Clemson eating sausage balls and drinking coffee, with fried chicken and beer in the cooler for late.
And Northeast Harbor, Maine, is heaven on earth, my friends.
