Legit question about bats

I know we make jokes and stuff but I’m beginning to actually wonder about our bat choice … just do a quick search of the bats at the top of the power list and some other searches online. I get it marucci is the cool brand but is it me or does it seem like we hit a lot of balls on the nose and they just don’t have the jump that it looks like… and I get it these bats aren’t the same as they were 20 years ago but the sound and eveything is diff than if you watch teams not using them… just a random thought sipping on the good stuff lol Go Tigers !!

more “dead” than other aluminum bats. Maybe that doesn’t mean a thing I don’t know.

I dont like the marruci bats. Demarini "the goods" is the best bat on the market right now imo

UGA uses the same bats - they don’t have an issues with hitting bombs. Same with LSU

There is a different sound between a composite and an alloy bat. The green bats that Paino and Priest are using are two piece composite bats. They sound more like wood. Alloy bats have a loud ping sound. Alloy bats are ready out of the wrapper. Composite bats have to be “broken in” for the pop to be there.
