Leggett vows to battle "lazy" attitude, work harder to earn playing time
Clemson tight end Jordan Leggett admitted Monday afternoon that he gets complacent and lazy during practice, preferring to save his best for the bright lights of the game. However, he also said he realizes his attitude has cost him playing time, and he vows to work harder after offensive coordinator Chad Morris said Monday that Clemson fans will see more of Leggett in the next few weeks. with his dad being on campus. I guess he's grown up with the fire Jack mentality and it's caused him not to care as much.

He reflects the attitude of a lot of players on this team. I doubt if he's lifted a weight since he got on campus. Good game against Maryland? Big deal. He's average at best. What did he do against FSU?

Can only hope his attitude rubs off on Seckinger

Seckinger seems lazy now compared to the fist few games. Especially coming off the line. A little competition could help in a lot of ways.

What attitude? Seckinger is a rail thin wide receiver trying to pose as a tight end. He weighs 205 to 210 (at best). Good luck with that. But then, he's part of our marsh mellow OL.

Plenty, given their lack of strength and toughness.

Sadly, he is so typical of very many of today's young (and many older) people. I get ill listening to kids talk when every sentence has like used as every third word. Do they not know how stupidly redundant that is? I can't imaging how frustrating it must be for an English professor having to deal with this butchering of the English language.

It's time the coaches quit coddling these players and challenge them in a tough way. This team at time reflects no real effort in games.

Don't try and tell Dabo that. He's incredibly into denial. Our strength program has been subpar for years. We have been bailed out by a few outstanding skill players on our team. That will end next year. The problem starts at the top, and I fear that next season will be brutal.

It'd be nice if our head coach had the same honest open approach. Hump, what hump?

Can you believe this guy........"I'm a lazy guy"......smack him in the mouth a few times at practice and see if he wants to play then or not. WOW. REALLY.

Two points:
He needs to change his mindset from "they" and "them" to "us."
Can you imagine him telling Danny Ford he was lazy?
